My inspirations for
turnings come from the trees
themselves. The shapes and colors normally are controlled
by nature. There are times when I can add my personal
touch to the beauty and artistry of a these shapes.
Woodturning, for me, is the perfect joining of art and the
design. Transforming a rough piece of timber into finished
object, weather it be functional or artistic, provides a
satisfaction that I have not experienced in any other medium
Contemporary Woodturning is a professional woodturning
studio that specializes in artistic creations. Visual and
tactile details provide for a harmonious balance in the
finished project. Many of these pieces are commissioned
for private collections.
